Brian Castor – Co-founder, Owner, President
The first of Red’s sons was born in Tampa, FL and helped his dad start Castor Inc. in 1977. Since the company’s inception, Brian has worn many hats in the company,
including cabinet building, finishing and installing. Today, Brian primarily focuses his work on business sales and community relationships. Brian’s favorite part of the job is developing relations with clients as he works with them to turn their dream kitchen and bath into a reality. In his free time, you can find Brian boating in Tampa Bay and along the Gulf coast with family and friends.
Kelly Castor – Owner, Vice President
The second son of Red was also born in Tampa, FL and began working part-time at the shop while finishing high school. It wasn’t until the early ‘80s when Kelly joined the team full time. While his brother deals with the sales, Kelly oversees the production side of the business including layout, design, building and installation management. His favorite part of the job is seeing the progression of a project from the design phase to the final product. Outside of work you’ll find Kelly in Homosassa, Fl where he scallops in the summer and cruises the river in the winter.
Tom Pringle – Production Associate
Born in Shelby, Mississippi, Tom has been working at Castor Inc. for over eighteen years. Tom works alongside Kelly with the production of custom cabinets. His favorite task on the job is reviewing the shop drawings of a new project and laying everything out. Intricate customizations and complex details are Tom’s specialty. The greater the challenge the better the project! Outside of the shop, Tom likes to lay low and relax at home.
David Warrum – Finishing Specialist
Born in Indianapolis, IN, David has been finishing cabinets at the shop for 14 years. After Tom completes a cabinet build, he takes them back to David who preps them for finish. This includes sanding, applying putty, etc. Once the cabinets are prepared, David begins the finishing process based on the client’s desired look. David’s favorite part of his job is stopping by job sites to touch up and perfect his work. To him, there is nothing better than seeing the client’s smile once our finished product is installed.
